After obtaining his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, Ron served as a Manufacturing Engineer with IBM in San Jose and Tucson. After rejoining Empire Bolt in 1985, Ron developed our initial Quality Management System and Quality Inspection Lab. He is active in Rotary International and serves on the Board of Directors for Boy Scouts of America, is a Trustee of the Washington State University Foundation and is a past president of the Western Association of Fastener Distributors (now Pac-West). Ron is currently Pac-West's Immediate Past President.

Jennifer was promoted to Chief Operations Officer in December of 2020.  She started her career with Empire in 1997 in Business Development. In 2003 she transitioned to Operations Manager and in 2004 was named General Manager. Jennifer graduated from Gonzaga University in 2022 with her master’s in Organizational Leadership and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Whitworth University. Her diverse background ranges from working as a Wildland Firefighter to an Operatic Performer. Jennifer is passionate about improving the access to and quality of training for fastener distributors and has served on the Board of Directors for the Fastener Training Institute as well as the Pacific West Fastener Association.

Scott’s career at Empire began in 1992 in Empire's Material Handling Department. He has worked in many capacities over the years including periods in Purchasing, Accounting, Quality Assurance and VMI Service. Scott is an avid sports fan and has served the Spokane community as a Coach for AAU Basketball for 17 years. With Scott's knowledge of our products, processes and key customers, we are pleased to have him as the Supervisor and Team Leader for our sales and customer service staff. Scott achieved the designation of Certified Fastener Specialist™ in 2015 through the Fastener Training Institute™ and has also earned educational certificates in Metric Fasteners (2013), and Practice & Science of Industrial Distribution (IUPUI 2008).
