Hex Head Machine Screws

Hex Head Machine Screws allow for the utilization of either a wrench or a hex socket drive in seating the screw into its application.  The flat bearing surface under the hexes helps spread even load across the mated surface.  This type of head style is ideal in high volume assembly applications where pneumatic equipment is used to drive the screw into position.  The hex drive allows for greater tightening torque than what other drive styles can typically tolerate.
