3M™ Metalized Film Tape 8437 is comprised of a relatively thin polyester backing with a metalized coating on both side of the film providing a mirror-like finish with low emissivity and a versatile, long lasting acrylic adhesive. A silicone coated release liner helps with ease of handling and allows for large area applications and die-cutting custom shapes.

Metalized surface provides some of the advantages of a metal tape without the associated weight. Mirror-like finish gives the tape high visibility where it is needed and maintains its bright appearance for up to 3 months. Thin, high strength polyester film meets low caliper requirements which won't interfere with most machinery processes. Liner is convenient for die-cutting and applications to large surface areas, or applications where there is a narrow gap. Abrasion resistance protects surface from abrasion and rough handling.
