Metric Class 8, Din 934, Style 1 Finished Hex Nuts at Empire Bolt & Screw

Finished hex nuts are easily the most prevalent style of nut in the world.  They are found in virtually every industrial, structural, construction, or machinery application.  They are designed to pair with bolts, screws, studs, or some other externally threaded component. The internal threads of the Finished Hex Nut mate with the external threads of the bolt, creating friction between the opposing threads and tension in the externally threaded component, thereby introducing clamping force between the fastening units.  For this reason, it is a solid union with substantial holding force. 

Metric Class 8 DIN 934 Finished Hex Nuts are suitable for use with all screws, bolts, and fasteners of property class 8.8 or lower.   They are often found in automotive and electronic applications.  In addition to Plain Finish, they are also available in Electro-Zinc and Zinc Yellow.
